  • Pineview Reservoir (Huntsville/Eden) – boating, paddleboarding, swimming, beaches, fishing.
    Main access areas: Port Ramp Marina, Cemetery Point, Anderson Cove, Middle Inlet (Middle Inlet has no boat ramp).
    Heads up: day-use/boat ramp fees are commonly charged at several areas

  • Causey Reservoir (near Huntsville) – paddling (kayak/SUP/canoe), fishing, shoreline exploring, hikes.
    Skull Crack Trail (Causey south shore) – popular hike that starts near Causey parking.
    Heads up: parking is limited and fills fast on weekends.

  • South Fork Ogden River / South Fork Campground (Huntsville area) – river access for tubing + fishing, plus camping.

  • North Fork Park (Liberty area) – big outdoor hub: hiking, biking, horseback riding, camping, plus winter Nordic activities; also an International Dark Sky destination.

  • Ogden Nordic (at North Fork Park) – groomed cross-country skiing, plus fat biking & snowshoe trails in winter.
